Rehabilitation of a wash house (Péronnes, Belgium)
 
Péronnes’ old charcoal wash house is to be rehabilitated so as to accommodate the city’s archives as well as a training centre. The project consists of independent coloured volumes, set within the regular grid of the concrete structure. The archives themselves are placed within black stone containers, as vestiges semi exposed semi buried within the building’s basement levels.
