In Valence the “grands boulevards” constitute a very particular place, a wonderful heart to the city and potentially a great space for social interaction. The proposal attempts to establish an enhanced image and more coherent sequence of public spaces.
The quality of an urban environment resides in the connection between different localities as well as in the definition of their respective boundaries. The intention consists of developing this linear space into a place of interaction, a link between the ancient city and the suburbs through simple and identifiable concepts.
